We are very lucky to have the very unique ‘Dartmoor National Park’ on our doorstep - wild, un-spoilt, rugged open moorland, inspiring granite tors, deep river valleys, stunning views, hidden villages and rare wildlife, it is most definitely a place you will fall in love with! Dartmoor Ponies are an iconic sight, living and roaming herds all over the moorland, you won’t miss them (please drive carefully!).
Dartmoor as you would expect offers a number of outdoor pursuits, although rugged, it also has a gentle side, there are a number of safe areas where you can picnic with the family, follow trails, walking and cycling, beautiful open spaces where children can run free and enjoy mother nature at her best.
